Fire Department
The Millbrook Fire Department headquarters is located at 3820 Grandview Road, next to the Police Department, and provides fire and emergency medical services (EMS) throughout the city. Our Department operates as a combination fire department that consists of paid and volunteer firefighters and paramedics. We respond with three Advanced Life Support Ambulances, four Pumpers, one 100-foot Aerial Ladder Truck, one Brush Truck and one Heavy Rescue Truck. Our Department also has a Dive Rescue Team equipped with a Dive Truck and two boats.
Under the direction of Fire Chief Larry Brown, Millbrook’s Fire Department employs 12 full-time/part-time Medics, one Fire Marshal, and 30 volunteers. Our firefighters work on a scheduled shift consisting of 24 hours on and 48 hours off while operating the three fire stations strategically located to provide the fastest as possible response times. The Fire Chief and Fire Marshal work a normal business hour schedule, Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The Department answers emergency and non-emergency calls.
At this time, the City of Millbrook has an I.S.O. rating of Class 3.
